The Nigeria Super Eagles’ indeed soar above the visiting Crocodiles of Lesotho at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.
The Nigeria forward Victor Osimhen opened the score board at the 22nd mintues of play time with a brilliant finish beating the Lesotho goalie.
Osimhen opening goal made it his 5th goal in five appearance in the 2021 AFCON qualifiers.
At the end of the first half of the game, the Eagles enjoyed great dominance so far and have a deserved lead. Although, they were sloppy a few times but Osimhen strike made the difference.
In the 51st minutes of play, Nigeria midfielder Etebo latches on to a loose ball, which beats the Lesotho goalie making it’s a 2 goals advantage for the host team.
Paul Onuachu who came in at the 74th minutes of play time as a substitute for Victor Osimhen scored his second goal for the Nigeria Super Eagles at the 83rd minutes of play with a good strike making it 3 goals ahead of the Lesotho.
