Another big upset seen in the AFCON 2022, as the Comoros National Team edged out the Black Stars of Ghana after a dramatic 3:2 thriller.
The four time AFCON champions Ghana lose to Comoros who had never scored a goal or win a match in AFCON history.
The Comoros’s had their first ever AFCON goal in the 4th minutes of the game and latter added to the score board in the 61st minutes.
The 10 man Black Stars came back into the game with what ought to be the equaliser goals in the 64th and 77th to balance up.
At the 85th minutes of play time, the Comoros’s secured their first every victory with a goal to break the tie with the Black Stars.
The Ghana team has finished at the bottom of the table, with 1 point without winning any match, and they have failed to advance past the AFCON group stage in 2006.
