The Senior Special Adviser (SSA) on Health to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr Salma Ibrahim Anas commissioned the Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria (AMLSN) National Secretariat and also laid the foundation for the construction of the association diagnostic and research institute in Abuja.
The ceremony which was well attended had the presence of several dignitaries and several medical laboratory scientists from across the country who came to witness the long-awaited event.
The diagnostic and research institute when completed will serve as a research hub and reference center for the local production of vaccines, reagents, and consumables used in the medical laboratory practice.
