Thanksgiving is every believers duty at all time. Every\u00a0genuine thanksgiving usually involves praise which bring down God’s presence (Psalm 22:3).<\/span><\/p>\n

Whatever God can do, genuine praise will make happen. Glorify God in praise and see Him step in your situation.<\/p>\n

Pslam 114: 1-7 says the presence of God is evident in genuine praise to God and nothing become impossible.<\/p>\n

Thanksgiving is vital and key to anyone who desires the supernatural hand of God.<\/p>\n

Gates are lifted and opened when we prise God (Pslam 24:7-10).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Acts 16:25-30 speaks about Paul and Sailas who where in prison, but changed their situation through praise. The power of God through praise is instant.<\/p>\n

Untill you thank God for the last, you cannot commit Him to the next (Luke 17:12-19).<\/p>\n

There are two vital things involved in thanksgiving are:<\/p>\n

1. Appreciation<\/p>\n

2. Application<\/p>\n

What is Thanksgiving?<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. It’s Acknowledging God as the one behind the good things you have (John 3:27).<\/p>\n

It’s not by your power, it’s His power to will and to do (1st Corinthians 4:7). We are not to glory for our possession but to give God glory for them.<\/p>\n

2. It’s the recounting of God’s loving kindness in our lives (Pslam 103: 1-5).<\/p>\n

We owe Him thanks for His doings and marvelous works.<\/p>\n

What Are You To Thank God For?<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. For all the benefits of redemption (Revelation 5:12; 2nd Peter 1:3).<\/p>\n

2. For His wonderful works in our lives (John 10:10). He has given us abundant life to enjoy (2nd Corinthians 2:14)<\/p>\n

3. For change of levels (Proverbs 4:18). Both spiritual and physical, we have been changed from one level of Glory to another (2nd Corinthians 3:18).<\/p>\n

Benefits of Thanksgiving.<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Joy (Proverbs 17:22), the Joy of he Lord enhances our health and vitality.<\/p>\n

2. It’s a platform for enjoying prophecy fulfilled (Hebrews 10:36).<\/p>\n

3. Thanksgiving preserves God’s blessings on our lives (Malachi 2: 1-3).<\/p>\n

You must be aware of enemies of thanksgiving which includes:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. The spirit of heaviness which results in depression. Depression is of the devil to reap you of God’s blessings (Isaiah 61:3).<\/p>\n

God has given you the oil of Joy, be mindful of it.<\/p>\n

2. Discontentment. Untill you are satisfied in Jesus, you cannot enjoy contentment (1st Timothy 6:6).<\/p>\n

Thank God for the past and focus on the future. There is a next phase God wants to take you to (Proverbs 4:28).<\/p>\n

3. Murmuring and complaining (1st Corinthians 10:10). Stop murmuring and start proclaiming and thanking God.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
