(Ibadan).<\/p>\n<p>Boaz Adegboro, is a Professor of Medical Microbiology and Immunology, a Harvard Fellow in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics, and a Fellow of the New York Academy of the Sciences. He is well noted for his pioneering works on Group B Streptococcal Infections, and his exceptional contribution to the development of Laboratory Medicine and Medical Education at both undergraduate and postgraduate specialist levels in Nigeria.<\/p>\n<p>Boaz Adegboro edited the Journal of Clinical and Experimental Microbiology from year 2002 to 2020. He was Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Ilorin (1996-2000), Chairman of Epidemiology Sub-Committee of the National Expert Committee on the Control of HIV\/AIDS (1990-2004), President of the Nigerian Venereal Diseases Association (2000-2004), President, Association of Pathologists of Nigeria (2000-2004), Member of the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (2002-2006).<\/p>\n<p>He is the author of a number of medical textbooks and novels like: Microbiology, The Sexually Transmitted Diseases and The Story of The Sexually Transmitted Diseases.<\/p>\n<p>Professor Boaz Adegboro is currently working in collaboration with other researchers in the Nile University of Nigeria, Abuja, University of Ilorin, and Nigerian Biotechnology Research Agency (NABDA) to develop curative and preventive vaccines against SARS Coronavirus-2 (SARS Co-V2).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Professor Boaz Adegboro, MBBS.
