The Gates Cambridge Scholarship programme was established by a US$210m donation from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in October 2000 as the largest single donation to a UK university.
The Scholarship is opened to applicants from countries outside the UK for a postgraduate degree (full-time) in any choice course currently available at the University of Cambridge.
CRITERIA:
An outstanding leadership potential and intellectual ability with a commitment to improving the lives of others.
AWARD BENEFITS:
When accepted, the scholarship will covers the total cost of studying at Cambridge, visa and flight costs, amongst other benefits.
