Jesus has paid the price for all, you are now the righteousness of Christ in God. But we must know that, nothing of value comes free, there is always something to do.
We must appropriate His finish work in our life and live Godly, truly Godliness is at a cost.
Righteousness is not what we say or belief but what we do everywhere we live. The righteous life is for man and not animals (John 3:7).
The world is putting pressure on believers not to do what is right, it is your duty to say No. Take your stand, everybody’s doing it does not make it right (1st Timothy 4:8).
WHAT UNGODLINESS BRINGS.
1. It brings failure and defeat (Joshua 7: 1-5).
2. It brings shame and reproach (Proverbs 14:24, Judges 16:33).
3. It brings fear.
No matter how difficult it will be, God will always save his people. God is working out something, don’t give up. Get up and hold on to God.
WHAT WE MUST DO:
1. We must lay aside every weight and sin that easily beset us (Heb 12: 1-2). There is nothing to loose being righteous and much to loose be unrighteous (Romans 18:14).
2. We must flee from all traps of the devil (1st Corr. 6:18, 1st Thess. 5:22).
You must flee all appearance of evil to stay focused. That the world is doing and celebrating it doesn’t make it right (1st Timothy 6:10-12).
