The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-olu, has visited protesters who were victims of the Tuesday night Lekki Shooting.
The Governor, in his statement says “this is the toughest night of our lives as forces beyond our direct control have moved to make dark notes in our history, but we will face it and come out stronger”.
Report has it that, there are currently ten (10) patients at the General Hospital, eleven (11) at Reddington and four (4) at Vedic; with various degree of injuries while two (2) are receiving intensive medical care.
Three (3) victims with mild injuries have been discharged and we will continue to monitor and ensure all the victims get the best medical care, the Governor said.
This is coming after the Governor ordered a thorough investigation into the unfortunate shooting incident at Lekki.
