[Insecurity]: Mob Set Tricycle Used For Robbery Passengers Ablaze In Jos.

Earlier yesterday at about the hours of 1:46pm, a tricycle (Keke Napep) was burnt at Angwan Gada area of Tudun Wada, Jos, Plateau State.

According to sources, the tricycle operator was conveying some passengers along the Jos Central Bank road, a lady took the ride heading through Tudun Wada axis in Jos. In the process the passengers robbed and collected her phone then tried to push her out of the moving tricycle.

A couple in another car during the process saw what happened, and chased the tricycle operator until they got to Angwan Gada in Tudun Wada where luck out of them and were caught as the tricycle was set ablaze almost immediately.

An unverified source told our correspondence that while searching the thieves who disguise as tricycle operator, about twenty (20) mobile phones and a gun was found on them.
Their identities as at the time of report is still unknown.

It was also gathered that the suspects have been apprehended and remanded in custody for further investigations.
