The Edo State Deputy Governor, Comrade (Rt. Hon.) Philip Shaibu has spoken against the recent episodes in his office by his principal, the Governor of Edo State. Shaibu emphasizes that his ambition is not a personal matter but one that concerns the entire state and its people.
Shaibu also expressed concern that his principal, governor Obaseki, has chosen to attack a constitutionally recognized office without considering the implications this could have on the future of Edo state.
Furthermore, Comrade Shaibu assured the people of Auchi and the entire Otaru community of his unwavering allegiance to their development during the Uchi Day Celebration. He pledged to do even more for them if voted for as governor, calling on them all to advocate his candidacy.
