Members of the Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria (AMLSN), at a duly convened Special General Meeting held on 17th May 2025 in accordance with the provisions of the AMLSN Constitution and relevant procedural guidelines, a resolution was passed regarding disciplinary matters concerning two members.
Dr. Uche Odionyenma and Dr. Casmir Ifeanyi have been suspended from the Association following deliberations and majority votes by members present at the meeting online and offline, pending when their court cases are finished. This decision was reached after thorough consideration of issues presented, including breaches of professional conduct and actions considered inimical to the interest and integrity of the Association.
The suspension takes immediate effect and will remain in place pending further review or resolution.
