Report has it that the Laboratory Section of the Plateau State Specialist Hospital (PSSH) in Jos has been razed down by fire.

Although no life was lost in the in the incident, as sources reported that the fire, was first noticed at about 2:00a.m on Tuesday (3rd January, 2023).

The fire outbreak has destroyed several medical laboratory apparatus, office appliances and equipment valued at millions of naira.

The unfortunate occurrence led to unrest among staff and patients hospitalized in the hospital.
