In commemoration of International Women’s Day 2025, The Labcoat Agency ignited change in Lugbe Community, Abuja, through the EmpowHER Skill Empowerment Initiative, a transformative program designed to equip women with practical skills for economic independence and self-sufficiency.
With the IWD 2025 theme, “Accelerate Action,” as its driving force, the initiative provided hands-on training in hair cream, liquid soap, and Vaseline production, empowering participants not just with skills, but with the confidence to build thriving businesses. Beyond skill acquisition, women engaged in impactful discussions on reproductive health, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship, reinforcing The Labcoat Agency’s holistic approach to empowerment.
One of the most profound moments of the program was the interactive health session, where experts educated women on HPV vaccination, menstrual health, and economic resilience. For many, it was more than just a training, it was a turning point. Women left not only with new skills but with a renewed sense of purpose, determination, and hope for a better future.
